The Quantum Analytics Toolkit™ (QA) is a suite of software components and utility programs designed to support the analysis of large volume, high-velocity data – or data that changes frequently. The configuration of the toolkit includes the specific software components necessary to enable effective data ingestion, processing, analysis, and visualization for each customer environment. The Quantum Analytics Toolkit™ provides the analytic community operating in a net-centric information enterprise with the capability to discover, access, and exploit intelligence information in a secure, tailored manner. VSTI has provided technological services to the Intelligence Community (IC) for over a decade and has integrated critical mission knowledge into the design of the Quantum Analytics Toolkit™. Most notably, the system embraces three crucial concepts required for modern IC-focused systems:
A central search component of the QA Toolkit is the Quantum Analytics Platform™ (QAP). The design of the QAP supports high-speed analysis of unstructured or structured data using dynamically generated facets or indices. The QAP can support real-time or static data processing environments and includes a core User Interface (UI) framework, a loosely coupled faceted search integration utility, an indexing engine, a saved workspaces feature, and Ajax enabled UI components. The standard UI includes text, fielded, faceted and date range search components as well as a results data grid, link analysis and charting package display.
Optimized data ingest and management components that dramatically reduce time to market and support high volume data ingest, real-time alerting, and enterprise indexing. Included is a suite of RESTful Web Services and components that deliver an extensible search request and response framework that enables customers to leverage existing investments in back-end indexing technologies such as Endeca Information Access Platform (IAP), Autonomy Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL), and Apache Solr.
Java-based input adapter components responsible for reading data from enterprise systems, data translation, and performing high volume multi-threaded ingest into the Enterprise Ingest and Alerting Framework.
Customization package for the Quantum Analytics Platform™ User Interface that enables developers to customize existing components, develop new components, and integrate the QAP with custom back-end systems and repositories.
Server side monitoring components and web-based administration console of Faceted Search Toolkit components to include CPU utilization, RAM utilization, storage utilization, throughput processing, query performance monitoring, etc. |
